Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
⏱ 2 min - 2
On the prepared sheet pan, toss the trimmed asparagus with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and 1/8 teaspoon of black pepper until evenly coated. Spread them in a single layer on one side of the pan.
⏱ 3 min - 3
Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil, the juice from half of the lemon, dried dill, garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and 1/8 teaspoon of black pepper. Brush this mixture evenly over the top and sides of each salmon fillet.
⏱ 3 min - 4
Place the seasoned salmon fillets on the other side of the sheet pan alongside the asparagus. Arrange the lemon slices over and around the salmon and asparagus.

Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork, and the asparagus is tender-crisp. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of your salmon.
