- 2 tablespoonsFresh lemon juice

2Instructions
- 1
If serving with pasta, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
⏱ 10 min - 2
Pat the peeled and deveined shrimp very dry with paper towels. Season lightly with salt and black pepper.
⏱ 2 min - 3
In a large skillet or non-stick pan, melt butter with olive oil over medium heat. Once butter is melted and slightly shimmering, add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
⏱ 2 min - 4
Increase heat to medium-high. Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 1-2 minutes per side, until shrimp turn pink and opaque. Do not overcrowd the pan; cook in batches if necessary.
⏱ 4 min - 5
Pour in the white wine (or chicken broth) and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Let it simmer for 1-2 minutes until slightly reduced.
⏱ 2 min - 6
Remove the skillet from heat. Stir in the fresh lemon juice and chopped parsley. Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed.
⏱ 1 min - 7
Serve the garlic butter shrimp scampi immediately over hot cooked pasta, or with crusty bread on the side for dipping into the flavorful sauce.
